this and that
We had a rough week Angel and I were sick. The house was in/is shambles and I 'm catching up. It's amazing how much laundry there is to do. We don't have co-op tomorrow (YAY) so I can continue to catch up. My in laws are coming up from Del. The kids are excited. We have a friend and her daughter coming over Friday night to play games. Saturday I have a candle party to go to. Sunday we invited a family from our church over for dinner! We are excited to have them over. Have a great week and weekend!
Warmly,
Tracy

The Dopple Ganger-the great mogul diamond
I haven't done a book review in a long time so, I decided to start with a kids book. It's from the Dopple Ganger Chronicles it's called the Great Mogul Diamond. It's about troublesome twins Sadie and Saskia Dopple. They are adopted by a writer by the name of Muzz Elliot. Their friend Erik Morrissey Ganger is becoming full-fledged detective. Muzz receives a threatening note. Suddenly the twins find themselves on a train to danger. Awhirl in a series of crimes right off the pages of Muzz Elliot's own mystery novels, the twins need to figure out who's behind this twisted plot,or Muzz will be framed for her own greatest literary invention: the Great Mogul Diamond.
Meanwhile Erik speeds his way through the countryside in a lightening-fast convertible with private eye Dorcas Potts, racing the clock to find the twins and outwit the robbers. At the end of the road (if he ever gets there),he and the twins will have to get their hands on the diamond first...even though Erik, the former theif, has sworn never to steal again.
What do you do when you aren't sure what is right? Sadie, Saskia, and Erik face this question head-on in this latest book in the series.
My daughter thought this was a great book and said it was a 4 out of 5 stars. We got this book from Tyndale. Enjoy your reading.
Warmly,
Tracy

Hatching and plans for spring.
Justis decided to allow his chickens to hatch some eggs. It was a fun experience. We would notice an egg starting to crack and would bring it in the house to a broader(not sure if that is spelled correctly?) box. We had so much fun watching these peeps hatch.
Justis then sold this chickens at a lot farmers market. It was a great experience and I got to count it as school too. I'm so excited for spring. I plan on putting in a huge garden. I plan to do a lot of canning and freezing this year. We are also going to get more critters. We are talking about lambs, goats, turkeys, and a pig. I'm not sure if we will get all of these animals, because we are in the research phase. Hope you are having fun planning out your spring too.
Warmly,
Tracy

Vacation in the Bahamas part 1
We just got back from taking a cruise to the Bahamas. It was a wonderful time. My in-laws gifted us with this trip. They are very generous people. We went on the Carnival Pride. It was a lovely ship and the staff was friendly. They had all kinds of things you could do on the ship such as attend shows, bingo, piano sing alongs, comedy shows, swimming in the pools, playing chess on a giant chess board, ping pong, mini golf, tea time, towel folding classes, basketball courts, and much more.
Warmly,
Tracy
